BJ’s SGP Graduation ‘07 Recap

Yay my baby finally graduated! :-)

I am so glad that I’m stubborn and didn’t listen to BJ and go to the Nokia Theatre at the time he suggested. BJ was telling us that it’s going to fill up fast and was so determined (that he was right) that if we don’t get there early it’s going to fill up and stuff. Well for one we have reserved seatings so what would be the point of going at 8:30am when the ceremony took place at 10am? How can I lose my seat? Anyhow, I didnt’ listen… and I got there on time, found great parking, and was even in my seat five minutes before it started. I was so excited, though I didn’t get to sit with his family or anything. I hope BJ heard me when, being all ghetto and stuff, I yelled “BJ whoo” during the silence before the pledge of allegiance. I even yelled his name before BJ sang his last song with the choir. After 45 mins of the commencement they finally called BJ’s name and I was like “whoooo!00000000000000000000000000!! Great, now I can go use the rest room.” As I was leaving, the two couple next to me was like “oh you’re leaving already? You have no one else to yell for? What about BJ? You’re leaving BJ?”  That did nothing but brought a smile to my face. After the graduation we had some few photo ops with BJ and then his mom treated me and the family to lunch at Olive Garden in Arlington, Tx. I was lucky enough to even have BJ ride with me on the way to the resturant.

BJ and I have been together for 1 1/2 years and i’m so glad that I found a guy who is commited, sweet, caring and throws out everything at me and for me, sometimes literally, as BJ has. He’s gone through some tough times this past 2 years with personal problems, but I’m proud to say, and see, him prevail in everything that he wanted to do. Even sometimes in my ‘better’ judgement. I’m very luck to have him in my life… something of which I will never regret for any reasons that may arise. I love him.
