Facebook loves porn

June 14, 2007 @ 1:16 am

Facebook Porn GroupI was doing my usual routine before I hit the sack… check my email, drink some coffee, check myspace… and then check my facebook. Same ol’ same ol’ right? WRONG! Today, after logging into facebook I was greeted to a picture of a guys big ass and I think his balls in plain view?!?! I was like “No freakin way.” I didn’t think much of it though, but was still curious… Facebook has millions of users… they can’t keep track of every photo that gets posted. I looked around the groups on facebook some more… it wasn’t just four or eight pics… I swear there were over 300 frontal nudity pics on over 12o groups. Normally this would be ok when Facebook was a college only site… but it’s now open to High school students and basically any company. I found their lack of monitoring their systems to be highly offensive. What if my little sister came on here and saw this freakin dick? Facebook, we need an answer and a fix to this now. I’ve contacted facebook with no responses yet. Please digg, slashdot, or whatever else you can imagine doing to spread this story.

Rofl in all honesty, Facebook isn’t something that would appeal to a younger audience anyway, so I wouldn’t worry about that, but hmm, Facebook, as you said, can’t monitor all photos, so in a sense, they can’t be blamed entirely.

And taken offense dude? Seriously - you sound like those GLEE fags that had a rod up their ass the whole time (you know which ones specifically i mean). I mean let’s face it Tracy, you’ve seen a dick before - don’t lie lmfao :p

i still would complain. facebook should be clean or appear to be. i don’t need the media finding another reason to make it worse than it already is. lol

Pictures like those above are very nice to look at but i agree, facebook should keep an eye on what’s being posted. Or put an 18 on the front and warn.
Trey, you should be one of their admins haha, you do a much better job than their own.
    ps
could not find all the groups, can i have the pictures you saved? :-b

If I could make a site tweak. I think that you should make it to where we can add to or edit our comments. And have a thing where we can delete them.

I love how you were “greeted,” to those pictures ;) I never knew that facebook had those pics out there. I thought they would do a very thorough search and clean it up, but I guess I was wrong. Facebook mos def needs to really double check things before publicizing themselves

ROFL I love Melvin’s sweeping clean up - it reminds me of those teachers that used to confiscate porn and then keep it in their desk LMFAO

social media sites aren’t responsible for what their users post until they get notified of illegal content.

they already ask for the birthdate of people signing up, so all they have to do is give people a way to flag content as 18+ and then hide it from people below that age.
