Anti-Gay Boy Scouts Pays Up

Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, isn’t being so lovely this year to the anti-gay boy scouts. Phil cancelled the Scouts’ cheap $1 per year rent because of their refusal to hire openly gay leaders. Apparently the gay hatin’ also comes at a price: $200,000. The city has decided that the Boy Scouts chapter here must pay fair-market rent of $200,000 a year for its city-owned headquarters because it refuses to permit gay Scouts. You go Philadelphia!
Now that they are being discriminated against, the scouts officials threw in the “think of the children” card. What about the children? You guys are training them to hate and tie ropes to use in fetishes.
