reFRESH Celebrates the Big 50
International gay men’s lifestyle magazine reFRESH is hitting the big 50 - in magazine years anyways. Most new publication starts dying after 3 issues and reFRESH has continued to deliver the most entertaining, and drooling front covers next to Australian gay glossy, DNA. The 50th issue that premiers April 30th will feature 4 collectible covers.
The covers have been shot by leading fashion photographers based both in the UK and USA (Gavin Harrison, Robert Mendolia, Wander Aguiar and Greg Vaughan) and feature some of the hottest male models from both sides of the Atlantic.
Highlights inside the 50th edition include: a special focus on dance, part two of fashionable and secret history of gay men’s clothes, a new series on Hollywood’s Greats and a focus on the forthcoming exhibition at the Handel House Museum in London. New York interior designer Dane Bailey reports from the US on interior trends and there are interviews with jewellery designer Hannah Martin and global accessories king, Robert Tateossian. All My Children star Aiden Turner (and former reFRESH cover) and Dantes Cove actor Jon Fleming both strip off for the camera and we showcase the work of upcoming photographers, Wander Aguiar and Eric Sposito.
Founded in 2002, reFRESH was originally produced as a monthly title, before re-defining itself as a coffee table title produced alternate monthly in 2005. The new, larger format struck a chord with gay men around the world with its blend of culture and the arts, property and interiors, fashion, photography and travel.
