So, You Wanna Look Gay?
Well, as many of you may know, last week on The Tonight Show, host Jay Leno asked movie star and actor Ryan Phillippe to give his “Gayest Look.”
“Say that camera is your gay lover…Can you give me your gayest look? Say that camera is Billy Bob [Thornton] - Billy Bob has just ridden in shirtless from Wyoming.”
“That is so something I don’t want to do. Are you just going to embarrass me tonight?” replied Phillippe.
Now obviously, this entire scenario just sounds like it’s a bad idea to begin with. I don’t know about you all, but I’m well aware of how sensitive people are simply because I get badgered about it all the time, but Jay Leno is on National Television - if you say pretty much anything, people are bound to start complaining and start suing…seriously, why even bother?
And as for his desiring a “gayest look” I’ll just say this - I can’t say the little bush patch of black amidst the fried and gray hair is the most heterosexual thing I’ve seen. Matter of fact, I think the obvious reference to Brokeback Mountain did plenty for him as far as giving off gay goes.
I wish America knew how to quit you Jay, I really do.
