Portland, Oregon Mayor Receives Bending Ovations

Sam Adams had little difficulties when it came to the mayoral race Tuesday, in which he became the first OPENLY gay mayor to lead one of the 30 largest cities in the United States. Dallas had a homosexual major once and her name was Laura Miller - the dike in disguise.
Adams won 58 percent of the vote, avoiding a November runoff. Local businessman Sho Dozono had 34 percent and almost a dozen other candidates split the remainder.
Unlike many of the politico’s, Adam’s never made his sexuality an issue in the campaign, but following his victory he said he was aware of the history he was making.
“I’m running not to be a gay mayor, but a great mayor,” he said.
To be Gay is to not be great?
