Canada Deports Another Queer

Oh Canada, when will you learn. Canada is preparing for another deportation of a homosexual, this time a bisexual Nigerian woman by the name Jane Okojie. The Immigration and Refugee Board decided to allow her deportation because they believed that her sexual orientation would not be an issue in her home country. WRONG!

Homosexuality is illegal in Nigeria, and those suspected of being gay can be jailed or worse. Jane was already once detained in Nigeria. Since arriving in Canada, Jane has given birth to a daughter who is now 18 months old. If deported, Jane will have to bring her daughter out of the country as well.

I guess all we can say at this point is we hope that Nigeria doesn’t follow the Gambian King and order the “off with their heads” game.
