Homosexual Sues Bible Publisher
Bradley LaShawn Fowler, 39, is seeking to sue a Bible publisher because he claims that their version that referred to homosexuality as a sin has violated his constitutional rights and gave him some emotional and mental issues, according to a post by the Right Voices. Now we all know Bradley is stupid for filing a suit in the first place — what peeved me off the most was the super-religious commentators.
Collection of stupid commentators:
David says, “So this guy asserts that biblical truths have caused him, “demoralization, chaos and bewilderment,” does he? Well, naturally! The very scriptures he wishes to have redacted in his favor proclaim many, many times that God’s words are anathema to evildoers, that God himself “confounds” those who think of themselves as wise with simple, foolish things, and that truth has the stench of death to those who are committed to the lie.
So, this guy’s surprised when the actual words of the Bible cause him to feel “demoralization, chaos and bewilderment”? He has a choice between two avenues: stop reading the Bible and stop associating with those who do, or stop doing those things which he finds the words of the Bible condemns.”
Carolyne says, “What stupidity - just like a queer! Why doesn’t he just sue God, which makes about the same amount of sense! His mental instability was caused by his own mental instability and the pain - well he would have plenty of pain alright. . . if I were his family. (of which I would not be) How embarrassing! Devilish as Hell, this is way out of bounds and just plain lunatic!
Who would represent him??? What a joke!!!!!!!! GOOF BALL! This ‘whatever’ needs to be smacked until he gets his brain back in his head. Hopeless!!!”
Reason for Filing
“Bradley LaShawn Fowler, 39, is seeking $60 million from Zondervan, based in Cascade Township, and $10 million from Thomas Nelson Publishing in the lawsuits filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Fowler filed the suit against Zondervan on Monday, the same day U.S. District Judge Julian Abele Cook Jr. refused to appoint an attorney to represent him in his case against Thomas Nelson, a Tennessee publisher.
Fowler filed a suit against Thomas Nelson in June. He is representing himself in both claims.
“The Court has some very genuine concerns about the nature and efficacy of these claims,” the judge wrote.
Fowler alleges Zondervan’s Bibles referring to homosexuality as a sin have made him an outcast from his family and contributed to physical discomfort and periods of “demoralization, chaos and bewilderment.” (source}
