My Dog’s in the Emergency Room :(

Hey everyone… I know you guys and gossip girls come to the blog daily to catch up with the latest poppin’ culture and gay stuff and yea… this post is going to be very personal so please excuse the grammar, spelling, and asian accent.

I just want to give a big apology for the past two days. Tuesday I went office shopping and when I did have time to start blogging my host was down! No good! Today… everything was going great — I even received a call from the publisher of the Dallas Voice — but then 12 noon struck and I got a phone call from a lady who found my dog and said he was injured. I went to go pick him up and his ass was like cut open or some shit. !WARNING: Images may be a little too graphic!

Fake Comment Name Pisses Us Off

Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a blast on the blog ;) Every now and then, one of the writers, including moi will need to vent a little on the status of the blog so here you go. Enjoy.

I don’t mean to call out anyone in particular, but why is it that all over the blogaysphere people come up with these ridiculous name to hide their identity? Do not get me wrong… I totally understand of having an alias to go by on the street and in the cyber world, but why in the world does anyone take the time to come up with something as lame as “Xai Ping Choi”? I guess that’s more original than “Trey Cruz” ;)

Just curious. Do you know anyone else who does that? One more thing - if this name actually belongs to someone I do apologize. I’m Asian and I’ve never heard of it before.

Geeks Invades WordCamp Dallas

As you all may or may not know, this blog runs on the powerful WordPress blogging platform. I was fortunate enough to have some free time to join the rest of the geeks from around the DFW area this past weekend in the City of Frisco to attend WordCamp Dallas. Why they call it WordCamp Dallas when we were in Frisco the world may never know.

As with everything else in my life I’m always late… but thank goodness! I got to personally witness one of those phenomenons you only see on TV. I witnessed a geek hit on a pretty hot lady who worked at the coffee shop by talking about wi-fi and it’s spectrum! Yup.

BEST OF TREY CRUZ 2007

Wow, what a year it has been and a much eventful one I might add. Though this site hasn’t seen its full year yet, I’m pretty sure there will be many more to come. It’s crazy how I started this blog randomly one day at lunch because I was bored at the University and now it’s one of the many great frequently visited blogs around the world. It received many “mentionables” in media giants like The New York Magazine, New York Times, and of course of our local newspaper here, The Dallas Voice. I would love to thank all my readers, sponsors, and blog mates for all their support. I would also like to thank everyone else who has contributed to the blog including our great photographer friends and the boys at the magazines. I had a wonderful 9 months of the year 2007 with you guys, and gals, and really looking forward to how far this site will push to its popularity.

As a custom with every website we decided to follow suite and create a list of the BEST OF TREY CRUZ 2007 featuring the 10 best post, in our opinion, of the year. :-) Thanks Sean and Melvin for your help!

Our next all time favorite has to be the photos of Vince Azzopardi shot by photographer and friend Dylan Rosser. Believe it or not but this young hottie is only 19! We’ve been in contact with him so watch out for more of his work soon!

You all know who he is… the uber hot boyfriend of Reichen Lehmkuhl. Ryan Barry is the new Armani Underwear model and he recently displayed his manly pride on the issue of DNA.

David Beckham Loves Being a Gay Icon

Galaxy hottie, David Beckham recently confessed that his wife, Victoria, likes to dress him and that he loves being a gay icon.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio, the 32 year old blonde stud says “I’m very honoured to have the tag of gay icon…Maybe it’s things like (the fact) I like to look after myself, I like to look smart and presentable most of the time.� Of course we all like to look after ourselves David, but I don’t think it’s the way you dress that makes us desire you… I think it’s Victoria mentioning that you have a huge shabang :-)
