Ashlee Simpson-Wentz births baby boy

Pop singer Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her emo hubby Pete Wentz have officially became parents for the first time, according to a report by “People” magazine on Friday.

Simpson-Wentz, 24, delivered a boy, named Bronx Mowgli Wentz, on Thursday, and all are doing well, People quoted a spokesperson as saying.

The report did not specify a location, but rival tabloid In Touch Weekly reported earlier on Thursday that Simpson-Wentz was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Congrats Ashlee! We love you and your gay boyfriend.

Nick Lachey turned on by wearing stilettos

Well this isn’t anything new — or utterly surprising. Heartthrob Nick Lachey in an interview with “Elle” Magazine said that he likes to cross dress.  Okay, well, maybe that wasn’t quite how he placed it.

[Nick Lachey] revealed that he used to get turned on by putting on her [Jessica Simpson] shoes and walking around in them. “It was sort of a kinky thing we liked to get into,” he said. He also admitted to enjoying dirty talk, “I haven’t even realized my full dirty talk potential,” he said. “I think there’s some greater moments out there for me.”

Tony Romo plays ‘good guy’ with homeless man

In the world of shameless celebrities who can only talk about themselves and create stupid shows like “50 Cent: The Money and the Power” and Paris Hilton’s “My New BFF”, in come Cowboys’ Tony Romo who is creating a rather nice reputation for himself. His first good samaritan act was when he changed a couple’s tires the night of the Cowboys’ season opener. Today, Romo treated a homeless man to the movies.

“Romo, who confirmed the story but didn’t want to elaborate, waved Doc over to sit by him and his friend. Doc sheepishly mentioned that he hadn’t showered in a few days.

“Don’t worry about that,” Romo said. “I’m used to locker rooms.”

Alas, we have some humanity in this strange place we call the U.S.

Faith Hill to open the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game

I just received a tip on my cell phone from Brian Tran. It’s rumored that singer Faith Hill will open the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving show with the National Anthem. It is also confirmed that the Jonas Brother will perform the halftime show.

This tip comes after a women was bragging to someone in a doctor’s office about her cheerleading daughter performing alongside the Jonas Brothers.

Obama makes big gay promises, but can he pull through?

The world took a miraculous turn Nov. 4 for –hopefully — the best with the election of President-Elect Barack Obama. A few hours later we found out that California’s Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage, had passed. Without a doubt that was one of the biggest disappointment in politics that I have ever endured.

Now I have something to smile about… at Change.gov, Obama has laid out his plans for the LGBT community which includes: 1) Combating workplace discrimination, 2) Expand Hate Crimes Statutes, 3) Support Full Civil Unions and Federal Rights for LGBT Couples, 4) Oppose a Constitutional Ban on Same-Sex Marriage, 5) Repeal Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell, 6) Promote AIDS Prevention, 7) Expand Adoption Rights and 8) Empower Women to Prevent HIV/AIDS.

That’s a lot to do in four years. Do you think he can make it happen? Let’s hope he can fulfill all his promises.
