Britney Spears’ comeback performance at 2008 Bambi Awards

Pop singer Britney Spears made a spectacular comeback Thursday with her concert performance of “Womanizer” at the 2008 Bambi Awards in Offenburg, Germany.

With her new album “Circus”, to be released Dec. 2, it may just be the jump-start Spears needed to make her triumphant return into the top chart of performers. The pop princess also picked up the award for Best International Pop Star.

The troubled singer had been struggling for the past years with tons of drama in her personal life which range from the Associated Press accidentally publishing her obituary to losing her children in a custody battle with baby daddy Kevin Federline.

“Australia” movie premiere in NYC

The sexy Hugh Jackman was all dressed up Monday night for the premiere of his new movie “Australia.” Special guest included Camille Grammer, Blake Lively, Helena Christensen, Katie Lee Joel, Kelsey Grammer, Kylie Bax and many others that you can see after the jump.

In northern Australia prior to World War II, an English aristocrat inherits a cattle station the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn stock-man to drive 2,000 head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country’s most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier.

The movie releases in the U.S. Nov 26.

Rapper and producer Sean Combs (P. Diddy), 39, just released a new ‘movie’ on youtube for the promotion of his new men’s fragrance and states his desires to be the next black James Bond:

This fragrance is dedicated to Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali, Martin Luther King and all you men out there who take care of your families and respect and treat yourself like the Kings that we are all. During the week of its release, Spears’ “Womanizer” jumped the charts to become the number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut of “Baby One More Time” from almost 10 years ago!

“Circus” will be released on the same day as Britney’s birthday on Dec. 2. The pop singer will turn 27.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz births baby boy

Pop singer Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her emo hubby Pete Wentz have officially became parents for the first time, according to a report by “People” magazine on Friday.

Simpson-Wentz, 24, delivered a boy, named Bronx Mowgli Wentz, on Thursday, and all are doing well, People quoted a spokesperson as saying.

The report did not specify a location, but rival tabloid In Touch Weekly reported earlier on Thursday that Simpson-Wentz was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
