Chris, Ryan H and Ryan C, Sean and Tim of the White Tie Affair unexpectedly discovered their strong market while playing in Upstate New York, the band’s lead vocal, Chris shares:
“Early on in our career, we were playing a show in upstate New York, and there were a whole bunch of people there. It was really a good crowd. They were dancing, they were cheering and they have a lot of energy. Then at one point on the set, they just calmed down for a couple of seconds, and all of the sudden, this dude with a really deep voice just shout out, so you can hear it over the crowds- “You guys kick ass” We know then that our audience might be a little more diverse than we realized, but that was a fun moment!”
When they first launched their You Tube and My Space campaigns they hit the gay market straight through the heart, why? They fully recognized that they have a diverse demographics from screaming Rosie O Donnell to trailer trash Tyra, soccer moms on the brink of divorce to teenagers who still believe that Paula is totally sane, and yup, the fabulous gays who loves the Trey Cruz blog! And these guys knows the formula to charm their captive audience.
On another off-the-record note — I wonder if Chris would ever consider going into modeling? Some shirtless pics wouldn’t hurt! OMG, did I just said that?
