The Cho Is Back And Beautiful
Margaret Cho, known for her raunchy humor and political mind, has really made a hit with her new show ‘Beautiful’. The show opened pretty far from home in Sydney, Australia at The Sydney Theatre.
The show has everything that you would expect from her. They ranged from her famous shout-outs to the GLBT community and her own spin on today’s politics.
Since the tour started in February, people are noticing a pretty different change in Cho’s attitude…
Some think that it is because Bush is going to be out of office pretty soon while others think that she is happy about the two Democratic nominees. Either way, Cho seems to be in higher spirits these days focusing more on just having fun while on tour! She is back on her favorite topics such as sex, body image and it’s stereotypes, and of course… the gays!!!
She did hit a very sensitive topic while on stage: Jesus. In between the crowds roaring laughter she proclaimed, “Jesus was such a bottom!” She also announced that it was one of her deepest desires to hear him just “say the safe word” while being flailed in Passion of the Christ.
It look like Beautiful is going to be another ringer on her already impressive list of show which include “Assassin”,”Revolution”, and “Notorious C.H.O.”
