Hello Fashion Week!

The 23rd edition of Belgrade’s Fashion Week will take place in Serbia’s capital between April 16 and 23.

The event, organized by fashion studio Click, aims to bring together Serbia’s domestic fashion scene with neighboring markets and leading world fashion centers. Every year, approximately 30 shows and attached programs are attended by various young and established designers and brands from the country, as well as leading international designers, media agencies and buyers.

Guests from past years included Costume National from Milan, Veronique Leroy and Maurizio Galante from Paris and many others from London, Rome, Mexico, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece.

The show is traditionally hosted by the Belgrade InterContinental and the Hyatt Regency hotels, Center Sava, Student Cultural Center and the Museum of Yugoslav History, but some of the designers present their collections in more alternative spaces, such as Barutana, Bitef Theater, Cvijeta Zuzoric Gallery and Public Bathhouse.

The Belgrade Fashion Week, which has come a long way since it started in 1996, takes place twice a year, each spring and autumn.

Beside the obvious benefit it has on Serbia’s fashion industry, Belgrade Fashion Week benefits the city as a whole, making it buzz with excitement.
