The reverend says that a “gay gene� has never been found so that homosexuality is a choice. It is true that some people have more gay tendencies than others. They have more of an inclination to turn to a gay lifestyle. BUT - it’s their CHOICE. Children of alcoholics and child/wife abusers are more likely to become alcoholics and child/wife abusers themselves. BUT, it’s their choice. You aren’t born that way. Environment, society, culture and values play a big part in a person turning to a homosexual lifestyle. BUT, it doesn’t MAKE them a homosexual. It’s their choice.

TV Fined For Airing Gay Scene

Of course this comes from some stupid conservative country - A Singapore television channel has been fined 15,000 Singapore dollars (11,200 US) for promoting a gay lifestyle, the media regulator said.

School’s Formal Gay Couple Ban Declared Illegal

Authorities say it would be unlawful for New South Wales schools to follow a top Brisbane boys’ school’s lead in barring gay couples from its formal.

Regardlessly, there is a huge debate going on right now in Queensland, Australia, which too, hold true here in the states, on whether gay couples should be allowed to ‘group’ together at a high school formal. To make a long story short this kid who attends an all boys private school asked the headmaster if it would be ok if he brought his male partner. The headmaster then went all Dumbledore and just basically yelled wizard spells and said something like “Confundo” (confusion spell)!

Well here we go again - several conservative groups including the American Family Association (AFA), which is based in Tupelo, Mississippi, are demanding that Marriott International Inc. to stop offering hotel guests the option of ordering pay-per-view movies with hardcore content - gay or straight .

The AFA has announced that about 47 “pro-family leaders” have signed a petition asking the hotel’s chief executive, J.W. Marriott Jr., for a meeting to discuss their concerns.

The End Of Blood Donor Discrimination?

[VIA AFP] The Red Cross of Thailand said Friday that it would change its screening process for blood donors to address concerns from activists who said the system discriminated against gays. No shit!

The Red Cross requires donors to fill out a form to assess their risk of disease.

Gay-rights activists had complained that one question, which was meant to target people more likely to have diseases transmitted by sex and drugs, had effectively blocked all gay men from donating by only asking about same-sex relations.
