Heath Ledger to Receive Oscar Nomination?

Despite the tragic death of actor Heath Ledger, his legacy still lives on as being one of the best damn actors, gay or straight. As opening day gets closer rumors are getting bigger and bigger that Heath Ledger is to be nominated for the Oscar for his role of the Joker in The Dark Knight, which premiers this Friday in the United States.

Michael Caine, one of Heath’s costars, says Heath was amazing in the role of The Joker. And when it was time to share the first scene with him he was floored at the performance.

Several months after his death, actor Heath Ledger is still living strong. Fueds surrounding the late death of Heath Ledger has yet again taken a mysterious turn, with members of his family claiming he may have secretly fathered a love child. It was believed to have happened way back when Heath was only 17 years old. Ledger’s uncle, Haydn Ledger, yesterday confirmed there was a “real possibility” his nephew had fathered a girl with the woman. The 2nd kid could split Heath’s estate. Heath Ledger’s good friend Vincent Fantauzzo submitted a portrait he painted of the actor. The paper documenting the session in which Heath sat for the painter is dated December 29, 2007, less than a month before his untimely death.
